KUALA LUMPUR: Mahkamah Tinggi di sini hari ini diberitahu, bekas Ahli Parlimen Ampang, Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin menandatangani bon dengan PKR secara sukarela sebagai memenuhi syarat perjanjian sebagai calon parti sebelum bertanding pada Pilihan Raya Umum ke-14 pada 2018.
Ujar Saifuddin yang juga Menteri Dalam Negeri, bon itu adalah kontrak sah kerana wujud ‘tawaran’ daripada PKR dan ‘penerimaan’ oleh Zuraida. Beliau yang juga Menteri Dalam Negeri berkata, Zuraida juga merupakan ahli Biro Politik parti, kemudian menghadiri mesyuarat biro di ibu pejabat PKR pada 17 April 2018 untuk membincangkan persediaan berdepan PRU.
Saifuddin tidak bersetuju dengan pihak defendan bahawa kontrak itu melanggar hak Zuraida untuk berpersatuan bawah Perlembagaan Persekutuan. Ujar beliau, berikutan pembelotan itu, parti kehilangan kelebihan mempunyai seorang Ahli Parlimen di Dewan Rakyat dan seorang menteri Kabinet walhal Zuraida terus menikmati faedah sebagai Ahli Parlimen dan menteri di bawah parti Bersatu.
