KUALA LUMPUR: Tindakan Lee Zii Jia untuk meninggalkan skuad kebangsaan menyebabkan Persatuan Badminton Malaysia memutuskan untuk tidak mendaftarkannya dalam mana-mana kejohanan untuk tempoh dua tahun.
Perkara itu diumumkan Timbalan Presiden BAM, Datuk Seri Jahaberdeen Mohamed Yunoos dalam sidang akhbar di Akademi Badminton Malaysia Bukit Kiara di sini, sebentar tadi. “Selepas mempertimbangkan semua faktor, BAM memutuskan untuk tidak mendaftarkan Zii Jia menyertai mana-mana kejohanan antarabangsa bagi tempoh dua tahun berkuatkuasa 18 Januari,” katanya.
Sebagai rekod, semua pemain perlu mendapatkan kelulusan persatuan bagi menyertai kejohanan di bawah kelolaan Persekutuan Badminton Dunia .
