PETALING JAYA: The family of murdered autistic child Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin , who was found dead last year will continue to put up a brave front for his parents, who are currently under remand.
“InsyaAllah, we are all strong. We will be present tomorrow. I am just glad today is over. I leave it all to the lawyers,” he said briefly when met with reporters outside the Petaling Jaya Magistrate's court here on Wednesday .. When meeting the press, lawyer Mahmud Jumaat said the objection was made under Section 26 of the Evidence Act due to an application filed by the police.
He said his client - Zayn’s mother - had given a statement before Magistrate Zhafran Rahim Hamzah on Wednesday.The couple were arrested by the Selangor Criminal Investigation Department on May 31, to assist the police investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
