PRESIDEN Umno Ahmad Zahid Hamidi mahu Suruhanjaya Siasatan Diraja menyiasat pendedahan bekas Peguam Negara Tommy Thomas dan bekas Ketua Polis Negara Abdul Hamid Bador terdapat campur tangan politik dalam badan kehakiman dan polis. “Pendedahan kedua-dua bekas ketua yang pernah mengetuai dua organisasi penting kerajaan adalah amat serius terutamanya melibatkan campur tangan politik dan rasuah dalam institusi-institusi yang menjadi benteng mempertahankan keluhuran Perlembagaan, kedaulatan undang-undang dan keselamatan negara,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.
