THE Kuala Lumpur High Court was told today that former deputy prime minister Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi lent RM10 million of Yayasan Akalbudi’s funds to a local coal company after he was introduced to the CEO by the husband of popular singer Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin. Armada Holdings Sdn Bhd CEO Wasi Khan @ Wasiyu Zama Israr, 50, said his company needed RM10 million in paid-up capital to meet the minimum requirements for registration to get a TNB Fuel Services Sdn Bhd’s spot contract.
