KUALA LUMPUR: Presiden Umno, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi dan bekas timbalan presiden PKR, Mohamed Azmin Ali antara 18 pemimpin yang mengadakan mesyuarat di rumah Presiden PPBM, Muhyiddin Yassin.Bagaimanapun, setakat ini pimpinan PAS termasuk Abdul Hadi Awang dan Gabungan Parti Sarawak tidak kelihatan di rumah Muhyiddin.
Antara mereka yang berada di rumah Muhyiddin ketika ini ialah pemimpin PPBM, Hamzah Zainudin, Redzuan Md Yusof, Maszlee Malik, Mas Ermieyati Samsudin dan Mustapa Mohamed. Pemimpin Umno dan bekas pemimpin PKR yang hadir pula ialah Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Mahdzir Khalid, Kamaruddin Jaafar, Ali Biju, Willie Mongin, Zuraida Kamaruddin, Saifuddin Abdullah, Santhara Kumar, Wan Saiful Wan Jan, Azizah Mohd Dun dan Ronald Kiandee.Terdahulu, Mahathir dilaporkan bersedia memimpin semula kerajaan Pakatan Harapan selepas pertemuannya dengan pemimpin gabungan itu pagi tadi.
Perkembangan terbaru itu muncul selepas Muhyiddin dijangka dilantik sebagai perdana menteri selepas mendapat sokongan Barisan Nasional dan PAS semalam. PH pula membidas usaha pembentukan “kerajaan pintu belakang” melibatkan “pengkhianat dan kleptokrat”.
