He says Digital Nasional had briefed MPs on the 5G procurement.

The RM11 billion cost for the deployment of Malaysia’s fifth-generation network and ecosystem is lower than the initial estimate of RM15 billion, said Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

Govt procurement contracts must be transparent, and accessible to public. This would help increase public trust, and promote integrity as these are reviewable by public.

It worries me whenever they announce new contracts because all I can think of is how much money will be “channeled” out.

I am confused. We say we want bumi to be part of development and contract but still we award contracts to foreign MNC. Don't blame others when you choose MNC instead of local company.

Mr. Zafrul anybody who does budgeting also know 11 is lower than 15... cause if you over inflate the budget then anything lower is a bonus ma but the question is... based on market and in comparison to other countries, is it worth 11b ?
