"Selepas diselidik secara teliti, kami mengeluarkan video daripada OAN dan membuat satu teguran terhadap saluran itu kerana melanggar dasar maklumat salah mengenai Covid-19 yang melarang kandungan kononnya wabak itu ada penawar," kata Choi dalam kenyataan. Ini kali pertama YouTube menyekat OAN, iaitu pihak yang dilihat menolak untuk mengakui kemenangan Joe Biden pada pemilihan Presiden pada 3 November lalu serta menyebarkan dakwaan berhubung penipuan pilihan raya.OAN perlu membuktikan pihaknya sudah menyelesaikan masalah itu untuk pertimbangan Youtube jika ingin menjana keuntungan melalui kandungan videonya semula.
"Sejak awal pandemik lagi, kami berusaha menyekat penyebaran maklumat tidak tepat dan memudaratkan yang berkaitan Covid-19 di Youtube," katanya. Sejak Februari lalu, YouTube sudah mengeluarkan 200,000 video kandungan berbahaya atau maklumat tidak tepat berhubung perkara itu.
