SIBU: A youth sustained critical injuries after he was believed to have been shot by his father during a drinking session in Selangau on Tuesday (Aug 4).

After the shooting, which happened at the family's home in Kampung Keranji Madu, the 48-year-old father fled.

"The victim suffered injuries to his left shoulder, fingers and right knee. He was conscious when police arrived at the scene," he said.
