It was obvious that Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and former premier Najib Abdul Razak could never be PKR president Anwar Ibrahim's allies due to many reasons. One is that they are just incompatible.
This entire debacle has shown a few things. Umno as usual is untrustworthy. Zahid probably promised Anwar something, got threatened and withdrew. The whole government security apparatus is at the present government’s disposal. Zahid went from threats to pull out his party’s support to reaffirming total support to Muhyiddin’s faltering leadership.
Well, if anything, it has shown us that Anwar is not a reformist but very much an unprincipled opportunist as Zahid is.

Take this as a blessing in disguise..It is best tht only those with integrity joins the PH bandwagon...no controversial figures and opportunists hopping on for short term self inferest. PH is stronger now than ever anwarIN
Just don't understand why there're still people who trusted Najib and Zahid. Can't they see what's their true motives behind in so-called trade in support. They're loose Cannon now. Just hid behind the party and used it as a shields. Tun read them clearly from the day he resigned

Not “likely to end”, but “already ended”. Anwar is a lousy strategist. Everything depended on Zahid. He should have had more layers of insurance as this will be his final bid to be PM. He’s now totally lost his credibility.
it's just bluffing on UMNO's side, no way they will move from PN where they are a sizeable majority to PH where they will be eclipsed by the combined PH's 90+ MP. Just too bad Anwar fell for it, but it is his ultimate wet dream to be PM so he had to risk it all.
Thank God Zahid Hamidi made that U-turn that will most likely end Anwar Ibrahim’s political career.
