YOURSAY | Mahathir not completely honest about Harapan’s fall

Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, you have done enough mischief in your lifetime, enough to prevent generations of young Malaysians from ever attaining their full potential.

You paid lip service to multiculturalism and stubbornly refused to harness the rich diversity of the country despite its obvious potential to propel the country forward. With the world the way it is today, we now have neither the money nor the people to get us out of the hole we are in. For that and the uncertainty we wake to every morning, we will keep you in our thoughts.I have much respect for Mahathir before and after the GE14 and all the reforms he had made.

We thought that the issues of race and religion would be made spineless, but it viciously reared its ugly head, until the inspector-general of police had to step in to give a stern warning to hate peddlers. You virtually tore up Harapan's GE14 manifesto. That causes Harapan to lose one by-election after another. Your clearest betrayal is when you protected former PKR deputy leader Azmin Ali in the infamous "main belakang" video from Sandakan.We owe GE14 to Mahathir. Bersatu ministers and Muhyiddin also owe their careers and positions to Mahathir. But now it looks like they are treating him worse than Najib Abdul Razak and Umno.

You only need to know what u need to know basis. if u married, u cant be telling every tom dick and harry what is your partner issue or relationship issue. - my 2 cent opinion

So sad for him, tainted his own name to retire as a statesman.

Running dogs of anwaribrahim drwanazizah don't get it do they? Mahathir chedetofficial job was to wipe out corruption and power abuse. Look at what is happening because Anwar Ibrahim got greedy. Now NajibRazak is only a step away from becoming PM again. Are you happy now?
