Yoursay: Calls for withholding of Wong’s degree ‘vengeful, childish’

He is a 23-year-old Mara scholarship student who was studying in Imperial College, UK and was nabbed with over 30,000 photographs and videos of child pornography.

The only thing he did was hold up a placard to question the uncalled-for statements made by his vice-chancellor, Abdul Rahim Hashim. However, the VC is supposed to be a role model for the students. However, he was not. He attended a forum, especially for one particular race and alleged to have made racist comments. His conduct alone should warrant his resignation or immediate sacking.When a student graduates, he has met all the conditions for the degree to be awarded to him.

Don’t bother about his degree,he has the right to keep em. BUT he shud be in SOSMA for he could create a new behavioral trend in this nation of Raja2 Melayu & their subjects
