PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional secretary-general Nazri Aziz has shot back at MCA and MIC who accused him of undermining the coalition’s multiracial make-up, saying the two parties should “go ahead and leave”.
They also called for an urgent meeting of BN leaders to decide on the coalition’s future, saying there was no longer a commitment from leaders to uphold multiracialism. Nazri today reminded MCA and MIC that BN had already seen the exit of 10 component parties since losing the general election last year.Nazri said any decision to call for a meeting of top leaders was up to the BN chairman.
