KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 23 — Yinson Holdings Bhd’s net profit for the second quarter ended July 31, 2021, improved to RM126 million compared to RM100 million recorded in the same quarter last year.

It said the increase in revenue was driven by higher revenue in the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commission business related to floating production storage and offloading Anna Nery conversion. On prospect, the company said the long-term outlook for the oil and gas industry remains challenging due to the emergence of new alternative energy sources and the changing appetite of financial institutions towards the industry.
