KUALA LUMPUR: Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah today confirmed that Malaysia had received a request from India to extradite controversial preacher Dr Zakir Naik.

He said New Delhi had sent an application but that Putrajaya had decided to stick to its decision not to send Naik back.“For now, there is no new decision. We are sticking to the original decision,” he said after launching a book titled “Bantuan Demokrasi Pendanaan Asing Di Malaysia” by Takiyuddin Ismail at Universiti Malaya here.
