, the company has revealed a new, stretched version of the same tablet. Called simply the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4″, the increased size is essentially the gist of the difference between this new model and the original from last year.
Despite the 27% increased screen real estate, the resolution of the display on the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4″ remains the same, which is 2560 x 1600. It even keeps the same 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support and 500 nits brightness. That being said, there are some surprising downgrades. Specifically, the previous 240Hz sampling rate has been pushed down to 120Hz, and the formerly 10-bit panel is now an 8-bit panel.With a larger size usually comes a larger battery, and the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.
