could potentially launch in Malaysia as well in the not-too-distant future.
According to a recent report by Amanz, a listing of the Xiaomi 13 Pro has been spotted in SIRIM’s e-ComM database, indicating its imminent arrival for the local market. A screenshot included by the publication also revealed that this particular variant received its approval from the organisation very recently on 2 December 2022.However, it also appears that the device may have been published prematurely, as the listing no longer exists after conducting our own search in the database.
Nevertheless, Xiaomi has promised that its next-in-line flagship series will definitely see global rollout, unlike the China-exclusive Xiaomi 12S line-up. Though not the first from the company to feature Leica-enhanced imaging, the upcoming 13 series will officially be the first products of the collaboration to reach other regions. As for specifications, the company has confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 series will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.
The tech giant has yet to confirm the revised date for the upcoming flagship series’ launch. That being said, seeing that other Chinese brands have already disclosed new dates for their respective events, it might not be long until Xiaomi makes an official announcement of its own.
