After launching it in China late last year, Xiaomi has finally showcased their latest flagship smartphone lineup to the world, the Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro. They both have what you’d expect from a flagship smartphone, such as the latest chip, an IP68 rating and high refresh rate displays, but the Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro are fairly different smartphones altogether.Starting off with the larger, more premium device, the Xiaomi 13 Pro features a 6.
The real star of the show though is the ‘pro-grade’ camera setup featuring Leica lenses. The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a main 50MP, f/1.9 camera using the Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor flanked by a 50MP, f/2.0 telephoto camera equivalent to a 75mm portrait lens as well as a 50MP, f/2.2 ultrawide angle camera. You’ll also get to pick between a Leica Authentic Look and a Leica Vibrant Look in the camera settings to set the optimal colour and mood for your shots. In front meanwhile is a 32MP, f/2.
As for pricing and availability, we’ll have to wait just a little bit more for the local details for the Xiaomi 13 Pro, but we do know that it’ll start atOn the other end of the spectrum meanwhile is the much more tame Xiaomi 13 itself. It’s a much more compact flagship device, packing a 6.36-inch, FHD+ AMOLED display using an E6 OLED panel pushing a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
