What was more worrying, he said, was that some of the youngsters would even rent an apartment or book a hotel room to engage in sexual acts and share their sexual experience openly with friends via mobile phones. “We are worried about the increase in sexual crime cases in Melaka. Therefore, we urge parents to monitor their children’s movement and behaviours so that they don’t get involved in promiscuity that will affect their future,” he told reporters after attending the 214th Police Day parade at the Melaka Police Contingent headquarters here today.
