Tawau District Police Chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said the victim, who is the shop’s assistant, was alone in the 4pm incident. “The victim was approached by an unfamiliar man in his 20s wearing a hat and a mask who pretended to buy something from the shop.“The suspect then went to the counter as if to pay for the items before grabbing the victim’s bracelet,” he said.
