With just 80 seats for each special parliamentary sitting, who were the MPs absent during last week’s proceedings?

Those absent were Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin , Bagan Datuk MP Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi , Marang MP Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang , Baling MP Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim , Kepala Batas MP Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican , Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing , Bukit Gantang MP Datuk Syed Abu Hussin Hafiz Syed Abdul Fasal , Bandar Tun Razak MP Datuk Kamarudin Jaafar and Sri Aman MP Datuk Masir Kujat .

Separately, Youth and Sports Minister Reezal Merican was absent as he is currently in Japan together with the Malaysian contingent competing in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
