PUTRAJAYA: Wisma Putra hari ini membidas “tembakan amaran” pelakon Amerika Syarikat, George Clooney kepada Malaysia sekiranya kerajaan memperkenalkan undang-undang anti-gay, seperti yang Brunei cuba laksanakan baru-baru ini.
“Dia patut lebih tahu apa yang dikatakannya,” kata Timbalan Menteri Luar Negeri, Marzuki Yahya di tepian satu majlis PPBM malam tadi. Marzuki berkata Malaysia adalah sebuah negara majoriti orang Islam, dan masyarakat di sini tidak menerima gaya hidup lesbian, gay biseksual dan transgender . Walaupun Malaysia tidak mempunyai undang-undang terhadap gay, hubungan seks luar tabii adalah suatu jenayah termasuk liwat.
