Why only one Indian minister in Cabinet?

They pointed out that preliminary analysis of the results of the 15th General Election showed that 83% of Indians voted for Pakatan Harapan.

“During GE15, Anwar was the poster boy for Pakatan. The Indian community saw this as the best chance for a political change in the country. He cited Sungai Buloh MP Datuk R. Ramanan of PKR, whom he described as a “giant killer” for defeating then health minister Khairy Jamaluddin, as an indication of the community choosing the party over a popular personality.

Universiti Sains Malaysia political analyst Prof Dr Sivamurugan Pandian said Anwar should now consider appointing another one or two Indians in the Cabinet to ease the community’s dissatisfaction.

Why not you ask them to prove themselves to the rakyat before any decision can be make. Look after the local council ask them to listen to tax payers... drain damage,drain clog...road damage yet to repair in housing area.. road marking all gone..don't just sit there ...

Others focus to work with the Rakyat.

Why are we going back to racial segregation of Indian Minister, Malay Minister, Chinese Minister? Start looking at it as Malaysian Minister and comments should be based on their performance and achievements.

Focus on competency and improving the economy, not on race.

Population of Malaysia is 35m. Total MPs is 28. Therefore ratio of 1 MP is 1.25 million people. Malays population 24.5m, Chinese 7.7m, Indians 2.38m. Will this info help whether each ethnicity is fairly represented ?

We got no choice for me its better than we becoming opposition PH needs BN, GPS & e other partners to form this govt. Like it or not, PH does not command 112 seats on its own. Kingmaker is BN. Concessions MUST be made. Otherwise, there'll be another Sheraton Move. Think about it please. We need a stable govt & for PH to GROW in STATURE. Look at the brightside. Rural ministers gets a lot of budget allocation. It was meant to enforce UMNO in rural so they can wrest back the greenery seats. PH take bandar, UMNO takes rural. Foresee this both to work long term.
