Sebilangan besar pemandu teksi tidak menerima bantuan Prihatin One-off sebanyak RM600 di bawah pakej rangsangan ekonomi kerajaan adalah kerana kad perakuan yang dikeluarkan Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat mereka tamat tempoh.
Beliau berkata masih ramai pemandu teksi tidak memperbaharui kad mereka dan menyukarkan usaha kerajaan untuk menyalurkan bantuan itu. “Ini menyukarkan usaha kerajaan untuk menyalurkan bantuan Prihatin One-off sebanyak RM600 bagi membantu pemandu teksi mengharungi waktu sukar akibat penularan pandemik Covid-19,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan.
Bagaimanapun, pada 17 Mei, kumpulan yang mewakili pemandu teksi bercadang membuat rayuan kepada Muhyiddin kerana tidak mendapat bantuan tersebut.
