Sabah Water Resources Council to gazette water source areas as protected areasThe Sabah Water Resources Council has agreed to gazette all water source areas in each district, especially in the seven districts that have water treatment plants in Sabah, as a protected area. Deputy Chief Minister I Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, who is also the Council’s Chairman, said the seven districts are Tuaran, Papar, Tawau, Sandakan, Semporna, Kudat and Penampang.
