The group of fishermen had lodged a police report.

A viral video recently showed a group of local fishermen having a verbal altercation with the Singapore police coast guard.

According to Free Malaysia Today, the police allegedly tried to prevent a group of 10 fishermen from setting up their shrimp nets in the Pasir Laba area, near the Second Link Bridge in Iskandar Puteri, at 5.30pm on 23 October. What’s regrettable is that the fishermen were anchoring their nets within the nation’s waters in the Straits of Johor and the Singaporean authorities were the ones who entered our borders illegally.

Great. Repeating lies, while refusing to acknowledge tt these Malaysian fishermen were in Singapore territorial waters & near a live fire area — it’s a safety issue, even Singapore boats would be chased out of the area.
