Ketua Polis Daerah Kota Setar, Asisten Komisioner Ahmad Shukri Mat Akhir berkata, pihaknya menerima maklumat pada 4.30 petang berkaitan pergaduhan di kawasan Lebuhraya Sultan Abdul Halim, di sini. "Mayat lelaki itu ditemukan dengan kesan kecederaan teruk di leher. Hasil siasatan mendapati, mangsa dibawa menaiki kereta Proton Saga oleh suspek lelaki berusia 30-an dan motosikal mangsa dipercayai ditinggalkan di kawasan pergaduhan di Lebuhraya Sultan Abdul Halim," katanya ketika ditemui di lokasi hari ini.
