Lee antara ratusan warga Britain yang mengalami kecederaan semasa menggunakan kit ujian kendiri Covid-19.

LONDON: Seorang wanita yang melakukan saringan kendiri Covid-19 dikejarkan ke hospital selepas secara tidak sengaja tertelan batang ujian calitan tersebut.

Menurut Lee, insiden itu berlaku pada bulan lalu apabila dia melakukan ujian saringan kendiri Covid-19 kerana berasa tidak sihat. Ketika kejadian, Lee berada di tempat kerja dan memutuskan untuk melakukan saringan kendiri setelah berasa tidak sihat selepas syif malam. “Lee tidak tahu apa yang perlu dilakukan dan cuba menelan batang ujian calitan itu namun ia tersangkut di bahagian kerongkongnya.
