On average, a brand-new Tiguan rolls off the production line every 35 seconds at Volkswagen factories located around the globe.

KUALA LUMPUR: Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia is celebrating the Tiguan mid-sized sports utility vehicle's achievement for surpassing the six-million mark in global sales with a special deal.

Based on a nine-year loan at 2.3% interest rate and a 120% downpayment, new Tiguan customers are able to save RM1,610 monthly. The Tiguan is powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged TSI direct-injection engine producing 150PS and 250Nm of torque that's managed by a six-speed direct shift gearbox .
