For a smaller peninsular country like Malaysia, making into the Guinness World Records is definitely worth talking about. Only a small percentage of our people have made it into the book. On 23th April 2023, Mohd Syahidan Alias achieved the Guinness World Records for completing the 2023 TCS London Marathon in his traditional baju Melayu.The 36-year-old had previously made into the Guinness Book of Records for running in the 2019 Sydney Marathon wearing a Jalur Gemilang costume.
