Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said today that 1,145 pairs of shoes were seized to assist in the investigation into the logo of the shoes allegedly resembling the word Allah. Vern’s clarified that it never intended to produce a logo design that ridiculed or insulted any religion or belief, and expressed hope that the company would be given an opportunity to rectify its mistake.
