Touch n' Go Digital today has officially introduced seamless digital account opening for Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad via TnG eWallet, making it the first of its kind in Malaysia to offer the onboarding process. With this, users can now easily register for a new ASNB account directly through the platform, eliminating the need for physical branch visits.

According to TnG Digital, the entire process will only take approximately one minute to complete. To register, first open up the TnG eWallet app and tap on 'Grow your money' or 'GOinvest'. After that, select ''ASNB', tap on 'Start Now', and then on 'Register Now'. Here, fill in and verify your personal details, and perform an initial minimum investment of RM10 into your preferred Fixed Price Funds or Variable Price Funds.

Through the e-wallet, users can access their ASNB account as well as their dependents’ to view their last five transactions, in addition to topping up existing funds and investing in new funds.

With this recent addition, the only service unavailable via the eWallet is the ability to redeem their investment. For this, users are still required to utilise ASNB's app, by visiting its counters, or process it through banks. As disclosed by its FAQ page, TnG charges a RM1 service fee every time you invest in a fixed-price fund, and a sales charge of between 1% to 2% is imposed for variable-price funds.
