Ketua Polis Perlis, Datuk Noor Mushar Mohd berkata, penahanan suspek, 28 tahun itu dilakukan polis Perak di sebuah pusat tahfiz di Kampung Buaya Manora.
“Suspek ditahan pada 12.10 tengah malam tadi dan pihak polis turut merampas dua telefon bimbit milik mangsa. “Hasil siasatan awal terhadap suspek, dia mengaku meliwat, mencabul dan membuat gangguan seksual ke atas lima mangsa yang berusia antara sembilan hingga 15 tahun kelmarin.Portal Harian Metro Khamis lalu melaporkan, polis memburu warden pusat tahfiz yang disyaki meliwat dan mencabul lima pelajar lelaki pusat itu sejak April lalu.
Laporan mengenai kejadian itu dibuat guru pusat tahfiz berkenaan di Balai Polis Simpang Empat pada 11.25 pagi. Berdasarkan laporan awal, suspek dipercayai meliwat dua pelajar berusia sembilan dan 15 tahun selain mencabul tiga pelajar lain berusia antara sembilan ke 12 tahun.
