“Kita tidak mencalonkan, dalam hal ini kita sentiasa berbincang dan BERSATU lebih berhak,” katanya di lobi Parlimen hari ini.Perdana Menteri Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad berkata, Osman yang juga Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Kempas menyerahkan dua surat peletakan jawatan itu kepadanya dengan satu daripadanya kepada Sultan Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar.
Dr Sahruddin Jamal, Mohd Khuzzan Abu Bakar, Aminolhuda Hassan antara nama disebut-sebut sebagai calon Menteri Besar Johor sejak beberapa hari lalu. Dalam pada itu, menurut sumber dalaman PKR, pihaknya mengetahui kerusi dan jawatan Menteri Besar Johor adalah kuota BERSATU Johor. Bagaimanapun PKR tetap menyediakan dua nama iaitu Mohd Khuzzan Abu Bakar dan ADUN Bukit Naning, Md Ysahrudin Kusni.
