JOHOR BARU: The coming state assembly will focus more on the welfare of the people and the general progress of the vaccination effort conducted by the state government, says Datuk Seri Che Zakaria Mohd Salleh.

The Permas assemblyman said that this is the perfect chance for all Johor assemblymen to bring up any issue regarding the matter so that they can be dealt with immediately.

“Another issue is the flash flood difficulties in Pasir Gudang, which have occurred twice this year alone, so I hope that each assemblyman would bring up just issues that affect the people and keep politics out of it,” he said when met by reporters at his office in Taman Bukit Dahlia, here on Wednesday .

“If we look at the federal level, there are no changes in power, even the Parliament's focus is more on the pandemic, so I think our coming assembly will also focus on similar issues,” he said.
