The water treatment plants were forced to shut down due to water contamination at Sungai Selangor, causing unscheduled water cuts to 1,196,457 accounts in the state.On Tuesday at 4pm, Suhaimi said water had restored in 214 areas in Petaling, Klang , Gombak , Kuala Lumpur , Hulu Selangor and Kuala Selangor .
“People can get water from 21 public taps and 34 static tanks at 17 local service centres made available for consumers affected by the water cut, ” he said.
