KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 — Umno supreme council member Datuk Rosni Sohar said that female candidates should be allocated at least 30 per cent seats in the upcoming state election. The StarThe Wanita Umno secretary also pointed out that voters have accepted the capabilities of female candidates nominated as their representatives in the previous Melaka state election.
“I hope the increased number of female candidates in Johor will be an indicator of more women candidates in any state or general election,” she reportedly said.
