"The despicable incident has proven once again that the nation as a whole must always be on guard against all forms of extremism and radicalism to uphold our harmony and peace and ensure the safety of all. “Meanwhile, our Special Branch of the Police force needs to beef up its intelligence gathering to address issues of such nature in the future,” Lee said.
In the 2.45am incident on Friday , two policemen — Konstabel Ahmad Azza Fahmi Azhar, 22, and Konstabel Muhamad Syafiq Ahmad Said, 24, — were killed while another was injured after they were attacked by a lone wolf assailant at the Ulu Tiram station.
