One passenger died and several others were injured when an SIA flight flying to Singapore from London’s Heathrow Airport encountered severe turbulence in the air.

They taste so good, but eating them frequently leads to a higher chance of having your life cut short, according to research. — TNS

“Higher ultra-processed food intake was associated with slightly increased all-cause mortality,” according to the study. To determine the health impact of ultra-processed foods, the researchers analysed data from more than 100,000 American participants: female registered nurses from 11 US states in the Nurses’ Health Study and male health professionals from all 50 US states in the Health Professionals Follow-up Study.Those who ate the most ultra-processed foods were at a 4% higher risk of death by any cause.

The study concluded eating these foods had a “modest” association with a higher risk of death, and more research is needed.
