BWF juga memaklumkan bahawa pegawai kejohanan akan dibahagikan kepada tiga kategori iaitu Hijau, Jingga dan Merah. Kategori Merah membabitkan kakitangan yang biasanya tidak bersentuhan dengan pemain dan rombongan mereka. Berdasarkan kalendar kejohanan itu, pusingan akhir Piala Thomas dan Uber 2020 akan berlangsung seperti dijadualkan pada 3-11 Oktober di Aarhus, Denmark.
