KOTA KINABALU: Two Opposition parties are eyeing the Kota Kinabalu and the Sandakan parliamentary seats in the coming general election.

Sabah DAP is likely to have a fight on its hands to hold on to its Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan seats in GE15.

This time, however, he said, the party was likely to face the Sabah-based opposition Warisan, pointing out that it would be a keen tussle for votes in Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan. Tenom, he pointed out, would be a lost cause for DAP as Warisan was no longer in play for their victory in the rural interior Tenom seat.

Currently, Warisan, said Lee, was still the strongest in Sabah, but GE15 would pose a stiff fight because its opponents were forming alliances.
