SEREMBAN : Police have arrested two more men, believed to have stopped a police patrol SUV in front of a school during the Rantau by-election.

Acting Negri Sembilan police chief Datuk Mohamad Mat Yusop said police picked up the two suspects in Nilai and Rantau respectively at about 11.30am on Monday .“Three of them were apprehended yesterday, and were remanded for three days from today. We are applying for a remand for the two others," he told reporters.

On Saturday , at about 6pm, five men stopped and inspected a police patrol SUV, as they believed the policemen were carrying additional ballot papers in front of SJKC Chung Hua.Meanwhile, the three suspects, aged between 36 and 50, who were detained earlier were investigated under Section 186 of the Penal Code for obstructing civil servants from carrying out their duties.They were detained between noon and 4pm on Sunday at three separate locations in the district.
