No plea was recorded from M. Murugan, 44, and Wong Yon Kuan, 43, after the charge was read to them before Magistrate V. Vanita.They were jointly charged with three others still at large with the kidnapping and murder of technician A. Vasudevan.
They were charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code read together with Section 34 of the same legislation for the murder which carries the mandatory death penalty upon conviction.
