GOMBAK: Two men have been arrested for allegedly provoking Immigration officers in an attempt to obstruct them from carrying out their duties as they carried out an operation on illegal immigrants near a temple in Batu Caves.

Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Arifai Tarawe said the two men were arrested separately in Batu Caves about five hours apart."Both men will be remanded for three days to help with investigations," he said.

The incident, which went viral, saw a group of men surrounding Immigration officers while shouting profanities at them.
