KOTA KINABALU: The Fire and Rescue Department assisted two injured female climbers to descend Mount Kinabalu in Kundasang on Tuesday (March 28).

In the first case, a call was received at 8.40am from the Panalaban substation, alerting about the victim who suffered an ankle injury.

“Early treatment was given by wrapping her foot with a bandage, and the 31-year-old victim was carried down using a stretcher. In a separate case, the Fire and Rescue Department rescued a man who fell into the sea after his boat capsized due to strong waves.
