The downpour also caused flooding around the Sultanah Aminah Hospital at Jalan Persiaran Abu Bakar Sultan fronting the Lido Beach. The Star photographer Thomas Yong who was at the HSA said the flooding resulted in some vehicles finding it difficult to enter the hospital. "The flash floods took place due to high tide which occurred at about 1.42pm and downpour around noon," Johor Malaysia Civil Defence Force spokesman said in a statement.Article type: free
