Elon Musk might have figured out a solution to solve the Twitter Blue fiasco. The current Twitter CEO says that the company will implement a new manual authentication process, which he described as"painful, but necessary."
According to the source, the company would offer new colours of ticks- gold for companies, grey for the government, and the original blue for individual accounts. If you want to know more about how the whole process works, you may refer to his tweet below. All verified individual humans will have same blue check, as boundary of what constitutes “notable” is otherwise too subjective. Individuals can have secondary tiny logo showing they belong to an org if verified as such by that org.— Elon Musk November 25, 2022 The Twitter Blue paid subscription led to many impersonating the real deals, as the company didn't actually verify the identities. These include notable public figures and brands, and it drove away advertisers from the"high-risk" platform.
