: Pendidikan dan Latihan Teknikal dan Vokasional Termaju Rangkaian Universiti-Universiti Teknikal Malaysia 2030 berupaya memartabatkan TVET sebagai antara pilihan pendidikan yang terunggul, kata Menteri Pendidikan Tinggi Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.
Menurut Zambry TVET Termaju MTUN melibatkan kerjasama antara universiti dan politeknik dalam negara supaya pelajar terutama lepasan Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia disediakan laluan menyeluruh dalam pengajian TVET. “Oleh itu, tiada lagi siapa yang pergi masuk sekolah vokasional kelas kedua. Pemikiran tidak seharusnya ada lagi, setiap pelajar mempunyai potensi yang sama rata,“ katanya.
Program berkenaan menghimpunkan kumpulan pakar dalam kalangan pemimpin, pakar industri dan penggubal dasar bagi meneroka peranan penting TVET dalam membentuk tenaga kerja global pada masa hadapan.
