BAITULMUQADDIS: Israel dan Turkiye mengumumkan penyambungan semula hubungan diplomatik dalam skala penuh kelmarin.
Keputusan itu dibuat menerusi panggilan telefon antara Lapid dengan Presiden Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan yang menyaksikan kedua-dua pemimpin bersetuju meningkatkan kerjasama dalam bidang pelancongan dan perdagangan. Pengumuman itu dibuat susulan usaha bilateral selama beberapa bulan bagi membolehkan kedua-dua negara menjalin semula hubungan diplomatik.
Pada Mei lalu, Cavusoglu menjadi menteri luar pertama Turkiye mengunjungi Israel dalam tempoh 15 tahun dan beliau turut mengadakan pertemuan dengan kepemimpinan Palestin di Tebing Barat.
