Pertemuan khas itu antara atur cara Raja Permaisuri Agong sempena lawatan peribadi ke Abu Dhabi, mengiringi Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
Menurut kenyataan Istana Negara, menerusi pertemuan selama tiga jam bermula pada 11 pagi waktu tempatan, Raja Permaisuri Agong diberi sembah taklimat mengenai objektif penubuhan dan operasi SCMC serta berinteraksi bersama barisan kepemimpinan SCMC. SCMC ditubuhkan Almarhum Sheikh Zayed Sultan Al Nahyan pada 2003, dengan objektif utama untuk meningkatkan martabat dan menjaga hak dan kepentingan wanita serta kanak-kanak di UAE serta menerajui penglibatan mereka di dalam proses pembangunan Negara Teluk ini.
Pada pertemuan itu, Raja Permaisuri Agong turut bertukar-tukar pendapat bersama Reem Abdullah Al Falasi, Setiausaha Agung Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, UAE mengenai usaha meningkatkan martabat golongan wanita dan kanak-kanak di dalam pertemuan ini.
